The Mossbourne Medicine Programme comprises two main components:

Medical Society (MedSoc): an internal outreach initiative that introduces Year 7-11 students to

diverse healthcare career paths. Activities include the UK’s first school-based NHS Cadets course.

Medicine Bursary: available to selected Sixth Form students, this programme helps young people

prepare for applying to study Medicine, Dentistry, or Veterinary Science at university. Bursary

activities include discussions with healthcare professionals, group projects, simulated medical

scenarios, work experience, first aid training, and expert support during the application process.
